1 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Isaul Rios, 21, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a beaten-up Buick four-door vehicle was reported at 11:04 a.m. Sunday at 1002 Pinehill Drive.

Law enforcement cited Cody Padraic Trott, 28, for a fishing violation after a violation was reported at 7:31 a.m. Friday at the intersection of St. Thomas Avenue and Ramsey Street. Trott reportedly admitted to having no fishing license and being in possession of northern pike out of season.

Police cited Joseph John Hamson, 47, for having an open container in a vehicle after a liquor law violation was reported at 4:04 p.m. Friday at 703 E. Main St. Hamson was cited after someone reportedly saw a male in a maroon car drinking beer.

Police cited Ramon Paul DeBoer, 24, for having more than 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 11:14 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and East Fountain Street.

Police cited Zachary Paulsen, 18, for possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 10:18 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Southeast Broadway Avenue and East Eighth Street.

Police cited Mikayla Kay Prihoda, 18, for possessing a small amount of marijuana and William Dewight Weber, 18, for possessing drug paraphernalia after a suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:46 p.m. Saturday at 100 W. Hawthorne St.

Attempted break-in, theft reported

An attempted break-in to a safe was reported at 4:15 p.m. Friday at Albert Lea Car Wash,  410 E. Main St. Damage was reported, but nothing was taken.

A theft report was filed at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Stephan Lucas Engen, 23, on local warrants at 10:57 a.m. Saturday at 128 Garfield Ave.

Deputies cited Kristian Lee Sundve on a local warrant at 6:59 a.m. Saturday at 100 N.E. First Ave. in Clarks Grove.
