1 arrested for terroristic threats

Albert Lea police arrested Chad Leo Roche, 26, on probable cause for terroristic threats after a request to assist another department was made at 3:21 a.m. Wednesday at 2007 Bimelich Lane. Roche was taken into custody and then taken to Steele County.

 

Thefts reported

Someone allegedly came in and took more than $300 from a register at 4:44 a.m. Thursday at Super 8 Motel, 2019 E. Main St.

A report of three tool bags and a first aid kit being taken out of a tool box from the back of a truck was made at 8:02 a.m. Wednesday at 709 Fountain St. A latch on the toolbox was broken.

Identity theft was reported at 9:36 a.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Two BMX tires valued at $50 were reported stolen at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday at 605 Fountain St.

A detached garage was reported broken into at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at 309 Vine Ave. A window was broken.

A basement was reported broken into at 12:43 p.m. Wednesday at 601 Fountain St. The alleged victim described it as “trashed.”

Cards from a purse stolen in Mason City were reportedly used in Cerro Gordo County, Worth County and Freeborn County at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at 1550 Blake Ave.

A computer was reported gone at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday at 1319 Abbott St. A coin bank and drawers were gone through.

A backdoor was reported kicked in at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday at 603 Fountain St. It was unclear whether items were missing.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested David Anthony Roe, 29, on a local warrant at 4:51 p.m. Wednesday at 917 S. Broadway Ave.
