1 cited for violations

Albert Lea police cited a 17-year-old for possessing a small amount of marijuana and a curfew violation after a report of a male with long hair pacing up and down a road was reported at 2:46 a.m. Friday at 109 S. Fifth Ave.

 

Burglaries, theft reported

A building was reported broken into and items missing at 7:58 a.m. Thursday at 24302 755th Ave.

A chest freezer was reported missing out of a shop at 3:20 p.m. Thursday at 76081 240th St. It appeared someone had been in the house.

Loans were reported taken out in someone’s name for $60,000 at 5:02 p.m. Thursday at 33595 795th Ave. in the Ellendale area.

A counterfeit bill was reported at 11:47 a.m. Thursday at Farmers State Bank, 1452 W. Main St.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joseph Manasseh Johnson, 24, on a local warrant at 3:10 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Fire reported

A porta-potty was reportedly on fire at 8:45 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of James Avenue. The fire was put out.
