1 arrested for violation

Albert Lea police arrested Chad Allen Hoyt, 45, after a check on welfare was requested at 5:33 p.m. Tuesday at 611 St. Peter Ave. Hoyt was cited for fleeing on foot.

 

1 in custody for domestic assault

A juvenile male was reportedly in custody for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday at 218 W. College St.

 

6 juveniles cited for violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited a juvenile girl for fifth-degree assault at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday at Alden-Conger Public School District, 215 N. Broadway Ave.

Police cited three juveniles for curfew violations after a juvenile problem was reported at 1:52 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Main Street and Ulstad Avenue. At the scene, police cited two juveniles for tobacco possession.

 

Thefts reported

Someone reported being scammed out of a deposit on a rental house at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday at 821 S. Broadway Ave.

A $50 counterfeit bill was reported received at 8:52 p.m. Tuesday at 134 W. William St.

Six Michelin tires and four Bridgestone tires were reported taken off trucks at 4:33 a.m. Wednesday at 820 Happy Trails Lane. Eight tires were reported taken off three trucks.

 

Child abuse/neglect reported

A report of a man and a woman believed to be on drugs with an infant was made at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Fire reported

A fire call was reported at 5:33 a.m. Wednesday on the south side of a road near a wooded area at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and 715th Ave.
