Albert Lea Public Library is partnering with Iowa Public Television to bring “The Great American Read” to the community, according to a press release. Events and programs will take place throughout the summer in conjunction with the TV show. The events are sponsored by Friends of the Albert Lea Public Library.

The premier party will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday. From 6 to 7 p.m. there will be cheese and wine and from 7 to 9 p.m. will be the premier episode of “The Great American Read” at St. John’s on Fountain Lake community center.
