Albert Lea senior plans to attend Luther College in Iowa

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am a senior.

Q: What town do you live in, and which school do you attend?

A: I live in Hayward, but go to school at Albert Lea High School.

Q: Who is your immediate family?

A: Mom, Alice; dad, Jeff; sister, Anna.

Q: Which sports do you play?

A: Soccer, swimming and tennis.

Q:  What is your favorite part about playing your sport?

A: Spending time with the boys.

Q: What has playing that sport taught you?

A: Patience and respect.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: Winning a section soccer game.

Q: Which game are you looking forward to most this year?

A: Big Nine tournament will be very fun.

Q: How did you get started in your sport?

A: My best friend, Sam Ehrhardt, wanted me to play.

Q: What sports did your family members play?

A: Mom was a state swimmer, and my dad played basketball.

Q: What are your sports-related achievements?

A: Nominee for the section All-Star game in soccer.

Q: What are your sports related goals?

A: I know it’s cheesy, but to have fun.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?

A: Kyrie Irving. He seems like a nice and funny guy.

Q: What are your college plans? Major?

A: Luther College in Decorah, I’m undecided (on the major).

Q: What is your favorite school subject?

A: Choir.

A: Diane Heaney.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Water and downhill skiing, long boarding and playing Fortnite.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: Physical therapist.

A: “Parks and Recreation”

A: I’m getting a new puppy June 2.
