1 arrested for assault

Albert Lea police arrested Thomas Mark Chicos, 53, for second-degree assault after disorderly conduct was reported at 9:11 p.m. Thursday at 415 Garfield Ave.

 

Items stolen, broken into

A BMX bicycle with a purple tire, rims and grips was reported taken out of a detached garage at 10:17 a.m. Thursday at 202 S. First Ave.

A wheelchair was reported taken from a storage unit at 9:23 a.m. Thursday at 310 W. Seventh St.

A report of $50 being stolen from a backpack was made at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at 321 James Ave.

A report of a car being gone through was made at 11:34 p.m. Thursday at 901 Luther Place. No items were taken.

 

Abuse reported

A report of a female and a child being physically abused by someone they knew was made at 8:07 p.m. Thursday at 100 N. Hague Ave. in Hollandale. No arrests were reported.

 

1 cited for violations

Police cited a 16-year-old boy for tampering with a motor vehicle, possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing a small amount of marijuana and tobacco possession after a theft in progress was reported at 10:55 p.m. Thursday at 901 Luther Place.
