1 arrested for possessing stolen property

Albert Lea police arrested Susan Marie Quiram, 55, for felony receiving stolen property, gross misdemeanor test refusal, gross misdemeanor third-degree driving while intoxicated, gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation and misdemeanor interlock violation after a report of a stolen vehicle from Faribault County was made at 3:52 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and West Main Street.

 

2 cited for violations

Police cited Dilen Duke Rippentrop, 33, for fifth-degree assault at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday at 133 W. William St.

Police cited Terry Lee Kline, 54, for trespassing at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday at 2320 Hendrickson Road.

 

Thefts reported

A Trek bicycle, softball bag with a facemask, batting gloves and other items, a plug-in an air pump and a battery pack were reported stolen from a garage at 7:21 p.m. Wednesday at 603 St. Peter Ave.

Someone reportedly fraudulently attempted to use a credit card four times at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday at Casey’s General Store, 2222 E. Main St.

An unlocked car was reported broken into and a few smaller items missing at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday at 505 W. Front St.

 

Sex crime with a child victim reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday at 19499 780th Ave.

 

Assault reported

A report of a student punching another student was made at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday at Southwest Middle School, 1601 W. Main St. The alleged incident occurred Monday.

 

Damage reported

Property damage was reported at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday at 1035 S. Newton Ave. The incident allegedly occurred Tuesday.
