Thefts reported

Albert Lea police arrested Cindy Cesar Valencia, 33, on a Mower County warrant after a theft report was filed at 3:59 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. A formal complaint was filed for gross misdemeanor theft.

A report of someone catching another person on the reporting person’s property was made at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at 71706 Freeborn County Road 46. Zippo lighters and chains were missing. The suspect was described as wearing black shoes with one having white laces, brown jeans, a navy blue polo shirt and having a ponytail with shaved sides.

A theft of a car remote was reported at 12:38 p.m. Wednesday at 204 E. Front St.

A theft of money from an account was made at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday at 415 Oregon St.

A bike, amp from a car and a knife sharpener were reported taken at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday at 332 E. Second St. A garage door was forced open.

A black and white mountain bike was reported stolen at 11:06 p.m. Wednesday at 1428 Academy Ave. A frame on the bike has a bend and flashlight holder, and there is a padlock on the bike’s handlebars. Two chainsaws were also reportedly stolen. A garage overhead door was left open. 

2 arrested on warrants

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Delwyn Deane Whitefeather, 48, on a warrant after an arrest warrant execution was reported at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Freeborn County roads 45 and 35.

Police arrested Brennan Christopher Millhouse, 19, on an Olmsted County warrant after a suspicious person or vehicle was reported at 12:51 a.m. Thursday at 222 St. Mary Ave.
