2 arrested for assaults

Albert Lea police arrested Patricia Marie Boggess, 61, for second-degree assault and domestic assault after a domestic situation was reported at 2:54 p.m. Saturday at 319 Adams Ave.

Police arrested Davonte A. Jackson, 25, after an assault-in-progress and foot pursuit were reported at 1:59 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St.

Police cited Aguiel Bul Bior, 29, for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct after disorderly conduct was reported at 1:13 a.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St.

A road rage incident allegedly involving a firearm was reported at 7:02 p.m. Sunday at 1006 E. Richway Drive.

Two males were reportedly in a physical fight at 4:51 p.m. Friday at 75351 255th St. in the Clarks Grove area. One male reportedly had a shotgun. The two people were separated, and the shotgun was put away. One person walked away from the scene.

A report of someone pulling a knife on another person was made at 10:25 p.m. Friday at the intersection of North Broadway Avenue and East Fountain Street. No arrests were reported.

A possible broken nose from an assault involving family members was reported at 11:52 p.m. Sunday at 504 James Ave. No arrests were reported.

2 arrested for disorderly conduct

Police arrested Sara Malanie Toenges, 29, for gross misdemeanor obstructing with force and disorderly conduct and Italo Gomez, 32, for disorderly conduct and obstructing after an unknown emergency was reported at 1:26 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St.

5 cited for violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Nichole Marie Segura, 45, and Joseph John Hamson for burning prohibited materials after explosions were reported coming from a residence at 11:02 p.m. Saturday at 71706 Freeborn County Road 46.

Deputies cited Cesar Gomez for disorderly conduct at 2 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St. Gomez was shocked with a Taser and evaluated by medical staff.

Police cited Sabre Jolene Bock, 34, for possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 12:11 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Ramsey Street.

Police cited Cole David Grunzke, 19, for underage alcohol possession during a traffic stop at 11 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and West Main Street.

1 arrested after suspicious person reported

Police arrested Fredrick Walter Kastens, 45, after a report of a man sitting in a silver compact car in the weeds with windows down and lights on was made at 12:56 p.m. Friday on the 100 block of Garfield Avenue.

Child abuse/neglect reported

A child abuse/neglect report was filed at 4:05 p.m. Friday in Freeborn County.

Items damaged, thefts reported

A report of someone being scammed out of $600 through Moneygram was made at 7:28 p.m. Saturday at 89848 140th St. in the Glenville area.

Three dents in a hood and five on the trunk of a car were reported at 3:12 p.m. Friday at 74993 255th St. in the Clarks Grove area.

A vehicle was reported broken into at 8:37 a.m. Friday at 509 W. College St. An estimated $550 in cash was missing.

A back door was reported broken at 2:45 p.m. Friday at 720 Stanley Ave.

Identity theft was reported at 3:29 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

A full gas can was reportedly taken out of a boat at a residence at 9:14 p.m. Friday at 322 E. Third St.

A report of someone losing 3,500 songs from an account was made at 12:10 p.m. Saturday at 133 W. William St. Estimated loss was approximately $3,465. The account was reportedly logged into from seven overseas locations.

on warrant

Police arrested Juan Vasquez Jr., 41, for fleeing on foot and on a Mower County warrant after an out-of-town warrant was reported at 10:53 a.m. Sunday at 212 S. Washington Ave.
