1 arrested after fight reported

Albert Lea police arrested Timothy Dennis Crowder, 54, after a fight was reported at 5:25 p.m. Thursday at 324 Court St. Crowder was arrested after people reportedly had axes and six baseball bats.

 

Thefts reported

A BMX Trek bike valued at $50 with a V-shaped frame was reported stolen at 6:35 p.m. Thursday at 116 W. Clark St. No suspects were identified.

Theft by fraud was reported at 12:49 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

A parking sign was reportedly recovered during a search warrant at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at 306 E. Second St.

 

2 arrested on local warrants

Police arrested Christina Jepson on a local warrant at 6:50 p.m. Thursday at 604 Giles Place.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Cully Thomas Shorts, 21, on a local warrant at 10:08 a.m. Thursday at 306 E. Second St.

 

Assault reported

A report of an inmate spitting in an officer’s eye was made at 2:29 p.m. Thursday at Freeborn County jail, 411 S. Broadway Ave. Michael Ray Sanders Jr. is being charged with fourth-degree assault.
