ELLENDALE — Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a rollover crash Tuesday that injured four people east of Ellendale, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

Jessica Beyer, 30, of Laurel, Nebraska; Julio Alvarez, 25, of Laurel and 10-year-old and 7-year-old children were taken to the emergency room with injuries deemed not life-threatening.

Beyer was driving a 2006 Buick Lucerne east on Freeborn County Road 35, east of Freeborn County Road 26, when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to land on its side in the north ditch and sustain heavy damage, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

No arrests were made as of Wednesday morning. The crash is under investigation.
