1. Independence Day Wine Celebration

Three Oaks Vineyards and Winery will host Wine Fest this Saturday. Enjoy good food, live music and award-winning wine for sale by the glass or bottle. The celebration kicks off at 2 p.m. and will run until 7 p.m. Remember to bring your own lawn chair so you can relax, eat food and listen to some good tunes.

 

2. New Richland Farm and City Days

Enjoy a weekend of fun-filled events with the New Richland community during its annual festival. This weekend’s festivities will start with fireworks at sunset on Friday night and wrap up with a tractor pull at 1 p.m. Sunday. Other activities include a street dance, a parade and a variety of children’s games. 

 

 

3. Lakers baseball games

The lights on Hayek Field will shine bright Saturday night when the Lakers take on a team from Sioux Falls. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. They will also be on the field Sunday facing Peak of Aims starting at 4 p.m. 

 

 

4. Pelican Breeze

Cruise around Albert Lea Lake this weekend for a Fourth of July Pelican Breeze cruise. The Pelican Breeze departs from Frank Hall Park at 6 p.m. Friday. Make sure you get your ticket for $10 per person.

 

5. Albert Lea Farmers Market

From baked goods to arts and crafts, the farmers market has got you covered. A variety of baked goods, vegetables and jams will be for sale. The market will run from 9 a.m to noon Saturday.
