Grace Lutheran Church is putting a spotlight on its artists Saturday at its Art Share event, intended to recognize the creative gifts of members.

Fifteen artists will display samples of their work from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the lawn in front of the church. Those displaying will showcase cross stitch, music, acrylic, watercolor, woodworking, writing and other forms of art.

Event coordinators encourage the public to attend. Those who go will be invited to participate in creating some art of their own: The church will be creating a mosaic out of small square canvases mounted together. Attendees are invited to create a piece of art that answers the question, “What does grace mean to you?”

The mosaic will be put in the church after it is finished.

There will be Bruno’s corn dogs on site, or those who attend can bring their own lunches.
