Rasmussen, a physical therapist at Mayo Clinic Health System at Health Reach, was first elected to the Albert Lea City Council in 2004 as the 1st Ward councilor. Marin, who served on the City Council from 2000 through 2008 and again from 2013 through 2016, is the pastor of Grace Christian Church.

Severtson, who served on the council from 1985 to 1989 and from 2005 to 2009, is retired from Enderes Tools.

During the forum, there will be an opportunity for each candidate to make an opening statement, and the balance of the forum will consist of written questions supplied by audience members, according to a press release from the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce, which is hosting the event.

The event will be broadcast live on the government channel.
