The Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club would like to thank the many people who contributed to make the Take a Kid fishing event on Edgewater Bay in June a success.

The club donated over 250 rods, reels and bait to children age 15 and under.

Helping to make this event a success were these donations: $1,000 from the Moose Club; $500 from REG soybean plant, Glenville; food and carts from Hy-Vee and minnows from Palmer Baits.

Also working this event were Kevin, Dave, Chris, Jean, Larry, Larry, Larry, Larry, Hi-Lo, Harlan, Bernie, Tony, Steve, Kathy and Carrie. We also appreciated the members of Albert Lea Anglers for assisting us. Also, thanks to anyone we missed.

We welcome more members to help our aging group and will accept donations for our organization.
