1 arrested for domestic assault at fair

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Sean Thomas McCasey for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds,  1105 Bridge Ave.

 

Thefts, damage reported

A lock on a storage unit was reported cut and Napa tools valued at approximately $5,000 missing at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday at 310 W. Seventh St. A black Napa 3-foot tall toolbox was taken.

A 2002 burgundy Chrysler Sebring was reported taken within the last three days at 10:44 p.m. Wednesday at 1715 S.E. Marshall St. The vehicle was reportedly at a mechanic shop before being taken.

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at 3:41 p.m. Wednesday at 1105 Bridge Ave.

A $58.27 gas drive-off was reported at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday at Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St. The incident allegedly occurred July 17.

A $40 gas drive-off was reported at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Kwik Trip, 2611 Bridge Ave. The incident allegedly occurred July 5.

A report of someone smashing a house window was made at 1:08 a.m. Thursday at 1100 Abbott St. The suspect vehicle was described as an older, tan Toyota Camry with three people riding in it.

A $30 gas drive-off was reported at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday at 1210 E. Main St. The suspect, described as black, was reportedly driving a mid- to late-90s white Jeep and left heading east on East Main Street.

A forged check was reported passed at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St.
