1 arrested for drug possession
Albert Lea police arrested Melissa Ann Gerads, 36, for third-degree drug possession in a park zone, gross misdemeanor fifth-degree drug possession and hypodermic needles possession after a male was reported holding down a female at 4:03 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Front Street. Gerads was arrested on an Olmsted County warrant.
Items stolen
Police received a report of a safe that was broken into was made at 11:58 a.m. Sunday at AmericInn, 811 Plaza St.
A kayak was reported stolen at 10:04 p.m. Saturday at 17547 749th Ave.
Someone reportedly broke into a shed with a screwdriver and scavenged through it at 7:24 p.m. Saturday at 1108 S. Broadway Ave.
A wallet was allegedly stolen out of a cart at 8:06 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
A toolset, Cabela’s gear bag and clothes were reported taken from a vehicle at 3:37 p.m. Tuesday at 1414 W. Main St.
A scooter was stolen from a front lawn at 7:26 p.m. Sunday at 2521 South Shore Drive. The incident allegedly happened the previous night.
Ineligible voting reported
A report of someone with a felony conviction voting in two elections was made at 10:44 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Police arrested Casey Ryan Crawford, 32, on a warrant at 12:28 p.m. Sunday at Bomgaars, 1721 W. Main St.
