2 arrested for DWI
Albert Lea police arrested Martin Harry Modderman Jr., 36, of Albert Lea for third-degree driving while intoxicated and having at least a .08 blood alcohol content within two hours after an intoxicated person was reported at 5:47 p.m. Wednesday at 419 Wedgemore Drive. Modderman’s blood alcohol content was listed as .221.
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Michael Scott Coleman, 32, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, an open container violation and speeding during a traffic stop at 2:32 a.m. Friday on Interstate 90, 1 mile west of the Oakland exit.
2 arrested after vehicle reported
Police arrested Nathan Lloyd Rehbein, 30, for felony theft, stolen property possession, fifth-degree controlled substance possession and misdemeanor theft and Stephanie Ann Belmore, 36, for two counts of fifth-degree controlled substance possession, two counts of storing methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child, felony theft and possessing stolen property after a silver Dodge Charger was parked in a fire lane at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday at 1550 Blake Ave.
Car damaged, items stolen
A complaint alleging an $80 gas drive-off was made at 6:01 a.m. Friday at Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St. The suspect allegedly stole merchandise from the store valued at $10.
A report of someone taking another person’s Social Security number and other documents was made at 6:29 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave. The suspect was known to the victim.
A report of a vehicle missing fog lights from a bumper was made at 10:28 p.m. Thursday at 800 S. Fourth Ave. Damage was estimated at $25.
A complaint involving someone smashing car windows with a bat was filed at 4:59 p.m. Wednesday at 71706 Freeborn County Road 46.
A complaint alleging a boat motor was taken was filed at 8:06 a.m. Wednesday at 2214 E. Main St.
A report of a construction trailer being broken into and multiple items taken was filed at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday at 214 E. Third St. The incident allegedly occurred Aug. 10.
