Applications for assistance with back-to-school supplies will be taken from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Salvation Army, 302 Court St.

According to a press release, applicants will need to bring proof that their child is registered in a Freeborn County school and is in kindergarten through seventh grade. They will also need a parental identification.

Backpacks will be distributed the same day to those who qualify.
