The detour for Highway 13 between New Richland and Waseca has been removed as crews complete a resurfacing project.

Paving work was finished on July 27, and crews will finish final striping, intersection lighting and maintenance work over the next two weeks. Motorists will experience minimal delays while finish work is being completed, but the roadway will remain open.

During Highway 13 construction, eleven miles were resurfaced, six culverts were replaced, guardrails were updated, county road intersection lighting was installed and an Active Pedestrian Crosswalk Flasher System was installed at Highway 13 and Waseca County Road 12.
