Indian official plans to travel to Rochester for medical treatment

The Chief Minister of an Indian state will travel to Rochester in late August for treatment and a possible surgical procedure at Mayo Clinic.
According to international news reports, Pinarayi Vijayan will take a 13-day trip to Rochester beginning Sunday, after admission to Apollo Hospital Chennai in Chennai, India.
The exact nature of Vijayan’s ailment has not been released.
Kerala is a state on India’s Malabar coast.
