A Wells man died Saturday after a motorcycle crash in Houston County.

John Lars Huston, 66, was driving a 2009 Honda motorcycle south on Minnesota Highway 76 when his shirt caught in the rear brake on the right side, locking it up, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Huston was then ejected from the motorcycle at about 5 p.m. Saturday, west of Houston County Road 22.

The report says Huston was taken to Gunderson Lutheran in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Huston was not wearing a helmet, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the report.
