1 arrested for DWI

Police arrested Tony Wayne Anderson, 33, for driving while intoxicated and fifth-degree drug possession during a traffic stop at 3:03 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Front Street and South Newton Avenue.

 

3 arrested, cited for violations

Albert Lea police arrested Cody Jay Eggum, 32, for third-degree drug possession after an untitled investigation was reported at 1:51 a.m. Thursday at 1525 Margaretha Ave.

Police arrested Terraina Lanae Wheeler, 32, for a harassment restraining order violation after disorderly conduct was reported at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday at 422 E. Seventh St.

Police cited a 16-year-old for underage e-cigarettes possession and underage possession of e-cigarettes in a public school facility at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

Thefts, damage reported

Three large political signs were reported taken at 5:29 p.m. Tuesday. One sign was taken from the intersection of 740th Avenue and 240th Street, a second at the intersection of Plaza Street and 740th Avenue, and the third from the area of St. John’s on Fountain Lake. The location where the third sign was taken from was not listed.

Damage to an emergency door was reported at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at Hawthorne Elementary School, 1000 E. Hawthorne St.

A window was reported broken at 7:21 a.m. Wednesday at 501 S. Washington Ave. Damage was estimated at $400.

A $415.40 insufficient funds check was reported at 9:47 a.m. Wednesday at 1353 S. Broadway Ave.

A chainsaw was reported stolen from a garage at 3:59 p.m. Tuesday at 635 E. Seventh St.

A report of someone being scammed out of $450 from the Iowa Steaks Co. was filed at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday at 1207 Virginia Place.

A report of a couple of unauthorized withdrawals from an account was made at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday at 195 N. Broadway Ave. in Alden.

A report of a counterfeit $100 bill was filed at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday at Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St.

A report of someone breaking into a laundry room, damaging washing and drying machines and taking $20 in quarters was filed at 4:39 p.m. Tuesday at 1609 Bridge Ave.

Items were reported stolen from a house at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday at 1015 Dunham St.

 

3 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Ryan Dean Johnson, 38, on a Department of Corrections warrant at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday at 604 Giles Place. At the scene, police arrested Christina Marie Jepson, 30, on a local warrant.

Police arrested Alexander Hart on a Department of Corrections warrant at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday at 408 S. Broadway Ave.
