School is back in session and so are many Cub Scout packs across south central Minnesota.

According to a press release, Cub Scout packs will host “Join Scouting” events, inviting boys and girls from kindergarten through fifth grade to come and learn more about scouting.

Events in the Albert Lea area are scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brookside Education Center.

Parents can also visit www.BeaScout.org or call 507-387-3123 to find the nearest Cub Scout pack.

In 2018, a Lion Cubs program is available for kindergarteners at scoutingwire.org/lion.
