2 cited for violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Heather Annette Nelson, 18, for possessing a small amount of marijuana after a suspicious person was reported at 1:34 a.m. Monday at Upper Twin Boat Landing.

Albert Lea police cited Angel De Los Santos, 31, for disorderly house after a noise complaint was filed at 1:37 a.m. Tuesday at 1019 James Ave.

Green lawn hose missing, bathroom damaged

A report of a men’s bathroom sink being broken in pieces was made at 8:47 a.m. Monday at 300 Johnson St. A drinking fountain was torn from the wall. Damage from the sink was estimated at $300, and damage from the drinking fountain was valued at $1,000. No suspects were reported.

A green lawn hose was reported missing at 10:45 a.m. Monday at 69071 335th St. in the Hartland area.

 

Drug violation reported

A report of an inmate having a white powder substance on clothing was reported at 1:14 a.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Assault reported

An assault was alleged at 1:39 p.m. Monday at 1904 Bridge Ave. The emergency room requested a police officer for an assault report.

 

1 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Holly May Hatfield, 27, on warrants during a traffic stop at 7:57 p.m. Monday at the intersection of West Clark Street and North Washington Avenue.

 

Dog bites reported

A report of someone in route to the emergency room after being bitten by a dog was filed at 7:01 a.m. Tuesday at 25177 665th Ave. in the Alden area.

A report of someone being taken to the emergency room after being bitten in the buttocks by a dog was filed at 11:42 a.m. Monday at 87796 Minnesota Highway 251 in east Freeborn County. The dog was current on vaccinations.
