Jeanette Truelson, 1947-2018

Jeanette Alice (Chrz) Truelson, 71, passed away at her home in Kasson on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018.

Jeanette was born April 9, 1947, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Kycek) Chrz in Freeborn County.

She was united in marriage to Paul Truelson on Oct. 16, 1966, in Oakland.

Jeanette was employed by Mayo Clinic for 27 years. The light of her life were her two grandchildren, Tyler and Paige Truelson. In lieu of flowers, donations made to her two grandchildren are much appreciated.

Family was very important to Jeanette. She also enjoyed being with her many loving friends (especially dear friends Patty Adams and Linda Rappe), going fishing up north and also donating to casinos. Her legacy is her enthusiasm for life and unconditional love for all those her life has touched.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Brian Truelson (wife, Patty); two grandchildren, Tyler Truelson and Paige Truelson; and siblings Franklin Chrz, Mary (Chrz) Ernst, Johnny Chrz and Mark Chrz, and their spouses and nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Paul Truelson; parents Frank and Alice (Kycek) Chrz; and brother, Eugene Chrz.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 801 Seventh St. SE in Kasson. The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Nirmala Reinschmidt officiating. Inurnment will be in Bohemian National Cemetery in Glenville.
