Joanne Kay Miller, 82, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018.

She was active in civic groups, chamber of commerce in Minnesota, an avid bridge player and golfer, and was a successful business owner for many years.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Kristi K. Shaw.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Fay A. Miller, of Gulf Shores; daughter, Lori L. Silverman (David), of Portland; sons Richard Miller (Evelyn) of Tipp City, Ohio, and Robert A. Miller (Marilyn) of Brewster, New York; grandchildren Nessa Miller, Maryland, Derrick Miller, Taavy Miller (Len Deboever) and Erin Shaw; sister, Gayle Myhre (Ron), of Bemidji; and other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
