Are you or someone in your family living with a chronic health condition? Senior Resources in Albert Lea is sponsoring Living Well with Chronic Conditions, a group workshop for any adult with one or more ongoing health concerns. Care partners are also welcome to attend.
According to a press release, class materials were developed through Stanford University and past participants have had conditions such as arthritis, Parkinson’s, chronic pain, early/mid-stage dementia, fibromyalgia, heart disease, depression and more.
The weekly classes will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Mondays for six weeks.
Beginning Monday, the class will meet each week for six weeks at St. John’s on Fountain Lake in Albert Lea. There is no fee for the class, although donations to support future classes will be encouraged. Participants will use the book, “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions.”
Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, call Senior Resources at 507-377-7433.
