Multiple drug arrests reported at Harmony Park

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies made multiple arrests at Harmony Park, 79503 298th St. in Clarks Grove, over the weekend:

Jordan John Sauers, 29, for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance at 7:53 p.m. Saturday.

Chad Wesley Emerson, 29, for felony fifth-degree possession of mushrooms, small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:50 p.m. Saturday.

Brandon Floyd Bachmeier, 34, for felony fifth-degree possession of mushrooms, felony fifth-degree possession of marijuana wax, a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:57 a.m. Sunday.

Reid Ellis Chaplin, 30, for fifth-degree drug possession of cocaine at 1:25 a.m. Sunday.

Galen John Long, 26, for fifth-degree assault, felony criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and burglary at 4:33 a.m. Monday after the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man in his 20s who was fighting people.

 

Man injured in fire

A man was reportedly taken to the hospital at 2:14 a.m. Monday after reportedly jumping in a fire and receiving burns to his legs and feet at Harmony Park, 79503 298th St. The man had reportedly been taking LSD, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

 

Man arrested for DWI

Kent Benjamin Johnson, 53, was arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated at 10:12 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 251 and 890th Avenue.

 

Thefts reported

Meter tampering and theft of utilities was reported at 1:38 p.m. Friday at 1005 Dunham St., according to police.

A wallet was reported stolen at 10 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

Three hundred dollars worth of merchandise was reported stolen at 7:36 p.m. Saturday from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

Police received a report at 9:08 a.m. Sunday of someone who had his credit card stolen from Kwik Trip, 2611 Bridge Ave. More than $8,000 in charges were reported on the card.

Political signs were reported taken from a yard at 8:47 a.m. Monday at 918 Valley Ave.

A garbage can and political sign were reported stolen at 10:41 a.m. Friday at 2522 W. Richway Drive. The garbage can was later found and returned.

 

1 arrested for domestic assault

Police arrested Troy Edward Steele, 48, for domestic assault at 10:38 p.m. Friday at 1310 Louis St.

 

4 arrested on warrants

Tyler Anthony Hall, 33, was arrested on a local warrant at 10:40 p.m. Friday at 218 E. Second St.

Kristin Marie Anderson, 33, was arrested on a local warrant at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at 826 W. William St.

Robert Lee Suniga, 36, turned himself in on a local warrant at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway.

 

Letter carrier bitten by dog

A letter carrier was reported bitten by a white terrier mix at 12:09 p.m. Saturday at 1405 W. Clark St.

 

Break-ins reported

A house was reported broken into at 10:14 p.m. Saturday at 609 Edgewood Ave.

A burglary was reported at 1:40 p.m. Sunday at an apartment at 321 Sibley Ave. Police logs stated the reporting party had a suspect in mind.

Police received a report of an attempted break-in at 3:38 pm. Monday at 1540 South Shore Drive.

 

Lines damaged on semi truck

Multiple lines on a 2009 Peterbilt semi were reported cut at 3:46 p.m. Sunday at 820 Happy Trails Lane. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

 

Illegal dumping reported

Political signs, a sofa, toys and a coffee maker were reported in the ditch at 1:09 p.m. Saturday on 770th Avenue in Freeman Township.
