Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 S. Washington in Albert Lea, will host a soup and pie supper from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Soups to be served include potato and ham, chili, wild rice, chicken noodle and Boston brown jug cheese. The cost for the event is $8 for adults, $3 for children 3 to 10 years old, and children 3 and under are free. A slice of pie is also included in the cost. Lefse will also be for sale during both service times.  Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities and world hunger.
