Items stolen

A business was reported broken into at 12:57 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson Industrial Sales, 601 W. College St. Items were strewn along the railroad bed between College Street and Clark Street in the area of the old railroad depot. A front door was kicked in. A male was described as wearing a hoodie and loading items into a two-wheeled trailer behind a bicycle around 9:35 a.m.

A door to a vehicle was open and a toolbox missing at 7:54 a.m. Tuesday at 1211 James Ave. The tools were valued at $100.

A report of someone breaking into a house a couple of nights ago was filed at 9:09 a.m. Tuesday at 717 W. Fountain St. Items were gone.

A case of eBay-related fraud for $1,500 was reported at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday at 525 Edgewood Ave.

A broken-open safe was reported found in a field at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at 24132 800th Ave. 

 

1 arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Isaiah Ray Baity, 35, on a Hennepin County warrant after a male was described as walking through Chevrolet of Albert Lea at 8:03 p.m. Tuesday.
