4 arrested for drunken driving

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Frenchie Christopher Taylor Jr., 27, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a check on welfare was requested at 3:51 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 735th Avenue and 110th Street in the Glenville area.

Deputies arrested Irene Joyce Hellen Hunter, 39, for third-degree DWI after a domestic incident was reported at 12:06 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and 635th Avenue.

Deputies arrested Saw Yut, 27, for second-degree driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving after suspension, providing a suspended driver’s license as valid, speeding and a stop sign violation during a traffic stop at 8:38 p.m. Saturday at 611 E. Seventh St.

Albert Lea police arrested Michael Anthony Munoz, 39, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Fifth Street and Virginia Place.

 

2 arrested for drug possession

Deputies arrested Athena Alizabeth Berg, 25, for possessing weapons and narcotics after drug violations were reported at 11:29 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Police arrested Jesse Alan Manuel, 29, for fifth-degree meth possession and possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 6:14 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Eberhart Street and Garfield Avenue.

 

Items stolen, damaged

Tools, an air compressor and gas were reported taken at 6:44 p.m. Friday at 17253 760th Ave. A home and garage were broken into.

A residence was reported broken into and a vehicle taken at 11:33 a.m. Saturday at 26034 800th Ave.

A car was reported broken into at 11:23 a.m. Sunday at 1318 E. Main St.

A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a yard at 9:16 a.m. Friday at 405 Court St.

Property taken from a burglary in Iowa was reported found at a residence at 2:01 p.m. Friday at 1525 Margaretha Ave.

A Chevy Cavalier was broken into and subwoofers possibly taken at 10:33 p.m. Friday at 1904 Bridge Ave.

Picked locks on a soap machine were reported at 11:25 a.m. Saturday at 309 Fenton Ave. Video was taken of the suspect.

An attempted theft of food and shoes was reported at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The suspect was described as wearing a gray jacket. The store requested the suspect be trespassed and theft charges pressed.

A car was reported broken into at 1:26 p.m. Saturday at 820 S. Fourth Ave.

Theft by fraud was reported at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at 139 E. William St.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 10:25 p.m. Saturday at 130 W. College St. Two suspects were described as walking out of the building.

A $38.92 gas drive-off was reported at 10:49 p.m. Saturday at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St.

A car wash was reported broken into and a television monitor gone at 11:02 p.m. Saturday at Albert Lea Car Wash, 410 E. Main St.

 

Child abuse/neglect reported

Child abuse/neglect reports were filed at 7:03 a.m. and 7:04 a.m. Monday in the Hartland area.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Jamie Lee Tippery, 35, on local warrants at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at 1405 W. Clark St.

Police arrested Anthony Nick Barela, 37, on a local warrant at 10:44 p.m. Friday at 1214 Wedgewood Road.

 

Powerline fire reported

A powerline was reported on fire at 9:32 p.m. Saturday at 126 S. Ermina Ave.
