Assault reported

A report of a teenage girl saying she was assaulted at the intersection of Freeborn County roads 17 and 71 was filed at 1:41 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 780th Street and 720th Avenue. She allegedly said a car cut her off before she was assaulted. The suspect was described as a 6-foot, 3-inch male with a larger build, black mask, gloves and clothing with a green eye, small hand and 3- to 4-inch foldable knife.

 

Domestic incident reported

A report of someone intentionally crashing a tractor into a vehicle someone was in was filed at 3:42 p.m. Friday at 73538 315th St. outside Hartland. Additional information was blocked out on Sheriff’s Office records.

 

Thefts reported

Seven-hundred dollars in cash and checks were reported taken at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at 28088 770th Ave. in the Clarks Grove area.

A black Murray snowblower valued at $450 was reported stolen at 10:54 a.m. Saturday at 507 E. Fourth St.

A $39.63 gas drive-off was reported at 12:23 p.m. Saturday at 611 U.S. Highway 65 in the Glenville area. An older green SUV was described as the suspect vehicle, and an African-American female was described as the suspect.

An apartment was reported broken into with items missing at 12:48 p.m. Saturday at 133 W. William St.

A report of a bank account being hacked and used for inmate purchases was filed at 11:20 a.m. Sunday at Freeborn County jail, 411 S. Broadway Ave.

A theft by check report was filed at 3:08 p.m. Friday at Kwik Trip, 2611 Bridge Ave. Someone later admitted taking a sandwich, soda and $6 in gas but claimed her mother wrote the check and gave it to her.

A cordless DeWalt drill and cordless saw valued at $250 were reported stolen at 11:21 a.m. Sunday at 203 Adams Ave.

 

1 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Bhuban KC for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 1:09 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Pearl Street.

 

Mailbox vandalized, keys taken

A report of a mailbox being vandalized was filed at 3:31 p.m. Monday at 61256 300th St. in the Wells area. Damage was also reported to neighboring property.

A set of customer keys were reported taken from a key drop at 5:43 p.m. Monday at TNT Body Shop, 30877 Minnesota Highway 13 in Hartland.
