2 cited on traffic stop

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Fellen Elisa Rietsema, 33, for having an open container during a traffic stop at 1:19 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 90, two miles west of the Hayward exit. At the scene, deputies cited Justin Thomas Rios for speeding.

 

Thefts reported

A car was reported broken into with jewelry missing at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday at 609 E. Fifth St.

A car was reported broken into and items stolen at 6:11 a.m. Wednesday at 1316 Frank Hall Drive.

Counterfeit activity was reported at 11:24 a.m. Wednesday at 1601 W. Main St.

A $100 counterfeit bill was reported at 1:54 p.m. Wednesday at Citizens Community Federal Bank, 2630 Bridge Ave.

Two vehicles were reported gone through over the weekend with $12 in cash gone at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday at 823 Stanley Ave.

A theft of a green Trek bicycle valued at approximately $350 was reported at 9:11 p.m. Wednesday at 126 W. William St.

A 2007 burnt orange Ford Edge was reported stolen at 4:32 a.m. Thursday at 215 E. Second St.

 

Fight reported

A report of six to 10 juveniles having a physical fight and yelling was made at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Fourth Street and St. John Avenue.
