Free program for seniors

Depression will be the focus of a free Health Talk Series for seniors from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday in the theater/chapel at Thorne Crest Senior Living Community, according to a press release. Those who plan to attend are asked to enter through Door A.
This is the third of a four-session program and is open to the public, and will benefit those interested in basic depression education.
Gamze Balci Camsari, M.D., Anita Bissinger, L.I.C.S.W., and Nate Lombardi, Ph.D. at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and Austin, will share information and answer questions regarding depression. Subject matter discussed will include what depression entails, symptoms, treatments, how to help yourself and loved ones if you have depression, where to seek care and more.
This series is scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of the month through November and the topic for the November session will be Parkinson’s disease.
