Janis C. Loge, 68, of Albert Lea died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at her home.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Janis Carolyn, the daughter of Einar and Emma (Blume) Hornseth, was born July 20, 1950, in Minneapolis. She graduated from Richfield High School and the University of Minnesota.

She married David Loge on Nov. 30, 1974, at Fort Snelling Chapel in Minneapolis and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2018.

Jan was a longtime employee with Ventura Foods in Albert Lea. She loved animals and living on her acreage.

She is survived by a brother, Douglas Hornseth, of Richfield; sister-in-law, Verna Loge Bobby, and her husband, Dale Bobby, of Janesville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David.
