Letter: Support Republican candidates Nov. 6
Published 8:54 pm Monday, October 15, 2018
Early voting has started, and the Republican Party of Minnesota’s candidates are graciously asking for your vote! If you are so excited to vote for the Republicans that you can’t wait any longer, go to the Freeborn County courthouse, and take five minutes to exercise your right to vote! If early voting isn’t your thing, there is still Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 6. The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. If you want a new direction for the state of Minnesota, vote for Jeff Johnson for governor. If you want United States senators who will fight for our elderly communities, protect your God-given rights, lower your taxes and protect and defend our agricultural communities, then vote for Karin Housley against Tina Smith and Jim Newberger against Amy Klobuchar. If you want a United States representative who will secure our borders, preserve our Second Amendment rights, and roll back regulations on our small businesses that will help us bring back small businesses to Albert Lea, vote for Jim Hagedorn. If you want a state representative who will put you above politics, and support the Save Our Healthcare organization, vote for Peggy Bennett. If you want a secretary of state who will restore integrity to the office, vote for John Howe. If you want an auditor who has been a certified public accountant her entire life, and will use that experience to be the best auditor that she can be, vote for Pam Myhra. Finally, if you want an attorney general who will not use the position to legislate laws, but to enforce them and be a nonpartisan voice in Minnesota law enforcement, vote for Doug Wardlow.
Again, please get out and either vote early now, or vote for all of our Republican nominees on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
