Letter: Trump got his chance

Do you know how you’re going to dress up for Halloween this year? I have decided to dress up as the scariest thing I can think of. I have decided to dress up as a Republican. Do any of you have an extra Trump mask I can borrow for the occasion? Am I still the most hated person in Albert Lea by those far-right Republicans? I know there have been some good letters in the paper that have challenged my reign. It isn’t hard to know if you are talking to a Republican or not. They just don’t seem to have a sense of humor.

Is it any wonder that Trump was uninvited to that big wedding in England earlier this year? It was also requested by Barbara Bush that Trump doesn’t attend her funeral. But Trump thinks he is the most popular person on this earth. He actually believes he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue in New York, and he would be more popular. I know some of these Trump supporters can’t see how close he resembles a dictator or not. This is the second time the most unpopular person became president, and he and his supporters don’t realize this. It is going to turn out that George W. Bush and Trump will go down on the list as two of the worst presidents we have ever had. Yet, there are Trump supporters who keep saying we have to give him a chance. He got his chance. He got to be president.

Did you make out that list that I mentioned in a previous letter about how good we had it when Trump took over this country and how he was going to make it great again? Well ,Trump’s policies are about to take effect, and it isn’t going to be good. Illegal aliens will not be risking their lives to get here because of what Trump has done to this country. I spent 20 years of my life protecting everyone’s right to their opinion. No matter how wrong it is. I am still bragging. I didn’t vote for Trump. Just so you Trump supporters know God and me, we do forgive you.
