Charge expected

Albert Lea police wrote they planned to charge a 16-year-old boy with theft after a truck was gone through and items missing at 6:30 a.m. Monday at 1903 Knoll Drive. The items were found at a neighbor’s house.

 

Items stolen

A vehicle was reported broken into over the weekend and a black cloth coin purse with a zipper and approximately $10 in change missing at 10 a.m. Monday at 1405 Oakwood Drive.

A job trailer was reported broken into at 8:45 a.m. Monday east of the intersection of 850th Avenue and 130th Street in the Glenville area.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 4:15 p.m. Monday at 152 Bridge Ave.

A report of a customer walking out with a tip jar with $30 to $50 in tips was made at 4:32 p.m. Monday at Cabin Coffee, 152 Bridge Ave. The suspect was described as a thin black male, clean shaven and wearing a white and black Adidas sweatshirt and a backpack.

A male was described as walking into a house while someone was sleeping, shining a light in her face, taking a purse and leaving at 3:01 a.m. Tuesday at 506 Sheridan St. A suspect was identified. A black purse containing vehicle keys, a billfold, debit cards, driver’s license and $50 Walmart card were taken.

 

Sex crime with a child victim reported

A Bureau of Criminal Apprehension report involving a sex crime with a child victim was received at 1:53 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
