Thefts reported

Taillights were reported stolen off a 2011 Toyota Tacoma at 11:23 a.m. Monday at 2004 E. Main St.

A fuel theft was reported at 1:54 p.m. Monday at 21113 810th Ave. in the Hayward area.

A gas theft of $45.13 was reported at 6:41 a.m. Monday at 901 W. Main St. The suspect vehicle was described as a black Cadillac.

Two girls were reported detained in an office for theft at 11:29 a.m. Monday at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave. The girls were released to their parents.

An attempt to pass a counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 1:50 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The incident allegedly occurred Sept. 3.

An employee theft was reported at 3:41 p.m. Monday at 2222 E. Main St.

A bicycle, DeWalt drill, tool and other items were reported taken from a garage at 3:45 p.m. Monday at 904 Ulstad Ave. The incident allegedly occurred Sunday afternoon.

 

Sexual assault reported

A sexual assault was reported at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West Main Street and South St. Mary Avenue.

 

1 arrested on warrants

Albert Lea police arrested Cristian Andres Wilborn on Mower County warrants during a traffic stop at 12:19 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Newton Avenue and East Second Street. At the scene, police arrested Logan Carlyle Cox for driving after revocation and having no proof of insurance.
