Threats at gunpoint reported

A juvenile boy was described as pushing a gun up to the face of at least one other juvenile and making threats at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday at 116 W. Clark St.

 

Items stolen

A trailer on a job site was reported broken into at 1:31 p.m. Wednesday at 10451 755th Ave. in the Glenville area. A lock was cut, and an air compressor valued at $300 was stolen.

An Ariens Sno-Tek snowblower in a backyard was reported stolen at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday at 507 E. Fourth St.

Counterfeit bills were reported received from the sale of a laptop at 11:13 a.m. Wednesday at 517 Johnson St.

A house was reported broken into with multiple items taken from a garage at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday at 2105 South Shore Drive. The house was also allegedly broken into Tuesday.

 

3 cited for violations

Albert Lea police cited Jocelyn Rene Torres for driving after revocation, having no insurance and failing to yield after a two-car crash with no injuries was reported at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Main Street and St. Thomas Avenue.

Police cited a juvenile for theft after a teenage boy was reported as having stolen a men’s silver watch valued at approximately $50 at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave.

Police cited a juvenile for vape pen possession after a tobacco violation was reported at 9:54 a.m. Wednesday at Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

Inappropriate behavior reported

A report of a white male with dark hair in a newer-version silver Yukon with dealer plates being aggressive in trying to get a female in his vehicle was reported at 11:29 p.m. Wednesday at 906 W. Front St. He also allegedly came over to her vehicle once she entered her car.

 

Tractor fire reported

A tractor fire was reported at 7:07 p.m. Wednesday at 89168 120th St. in the Glenville area.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joshua Dale Prestegard, 37, on a Rice County warrant at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday at 19757 710th Ave.
