The Albert Lea Area Autism Support Group will host meeting to support parents and caregivers of children with autism by sharing joys, concerns and hearing information related to raising a child with autism. 

The group meets the second Monday of each month during the school year at 6:30 p.m. at Brookside Education Center.  The next meeting is Nov. 12. 

According to a press release, this month’s speaker will be Anne Collier, who will share sensory strategies for children.  Collier is a licensed occupational therapist. 

Free child care is provided by licensed autism teachers for students and their siblings.
