Collecting for those in need

Girl Scout Troop 47847 completed a collection of winter gear for area youth in need as part of a drive organized by Freeborn County’s Multidisciplinary Child Protection Team. Pictured are Ann Austin of the United Way with troop members. The drive runs until November 29th; items may be dropped off at Hy-Vee, ShopKo, Walmart, Northbridge Mall, Skyline Plaza at the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamberof Commerce office, Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, Ventura Foods, Vitality Center, Freeborn County Government Center and Department of Human Services. - Provided
