Fourth-graders at Lakeview Elementary got some hands-on learning experience about water pollution Tuesday. Claire Rabine, a Minnesota Greencorps member serving the Shell Rock River Watershed District, visited classes with an EnviroScape model — a small, 3-D version of a watershed with various environments. Students made it rain using spray bottles and watched as pollutants made their way through drains and rivers to the lake. – Provided
