The Albert Lea Salvation Army is continuing its family approach to Thanksgiving with a meal catered to the entire community.
“We invite the community to join together as a family and give thanks for all that has been given to us” said Maj. Sandy Hunt.
On Wednesday, turkey and all the fixings will be provided between 5 and 7 p.m. in the Fairlane Building at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.
“Many financial contributors and volunteers have made this event for our community possible.” Hunt said. “We could not do this without the community’s support.”
Anyone interested in volunteering may contact the Salvation Army for more details.

The mission statement of the Salvation Army is in part “to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs without discrimination.” The Salvation Army will continue to “Meet the Un-met Need.”
