Amanda Whelan and Jameson Toft of Albert Lea were married on Sept. 8, 2018, at Grace Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Jennifer Gonsalves officiated.

Kayla Thompson was the maid of honor and Tonya Busall was the matron of honor.  Bridesmaids were Stephanie Ellingson and Corrine Mattson.

The best man was Joseph Knutson. Groomsmen were Jamison Burkart, Josh Anhorn and William Toft.

The bride is the daughter of Karlene Whelan and Alfredo Avelar of Albert Lea and the granddaughter of Deloris Grove of Albert Lea. She has two children, Chase and Laney Coleman.

She is a 2003 graduate of Albert Lea High School and attended the Minnesota School of Business with a major in health and fitness. She is an office support specialist at Freeborn County Department of Human Services.

The groom is the son of Allan and Deb Toft of Albert Lea and the grandson of Dean and Grace Bos of Hollandale.

He attended Albert Lea High School. He works at Minnesota Corrugated Box.
