1 arrested for OFP violation

Albert Lea police arrested Travis Stigney for an order for protection violation after a violation was reported at 9:05 p.m. Thursday at 501 W. College St.

 

Items stolen

A safe with important papers and $300 in cash was reported missing at 1:58 p.m. Thursday at 74865 315th St. in the Ellendale area. Someone was allegedly in the house and took the items.

Fraudulent use of a credit card was reported at 10:32 a.m. Thursday at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St. The alleged victim was told to contact Albert Lea police referencing the issue. He spoke to an assistant manager at the Albert Lea Kwik Trip and was advised pictures were sent to Prior Lake on the subject.

A 30-inch red Snapper snowblower valued at $300 was reported taken from a commons garage at 6:21 p.m. Thursday at 821 Maplehill Drive. The incident allegedly occurred one week ago.

 

Assaults reported

A report alleging someone was given drugs and alcohol so she could be taken advantage of was filed at 3:29 p.m. Thursday in Albert Lea.

An assault was reported at 9:08 a.m. Thursday at 807 S. Newton Ave. A suspect was identified.

A report of a male pushing another person down and kicking him was filed at 10:21 p.m. Thursday at Shady Oaks Apartments, 800 S. Fourth Ave. The alleged victim allegedly had to crawl out of the apartment. The alleged victim claimed there were drugs being sold in an apartment.
