Attempted break-ins reported

An attempted break-in was reported at 4:25 p.m. Friday to an unattached garage at 601 E. Fifth St. The side door and garage door were damaged. Damage was estimated at $400. A fire destroyed the home at the address last month.

A house at 207 S. Fifth Ave. was reported broken into at 4:57 p.m. Friday.

A break-in was reported at 7:05 a.m. Saturday at 615 Pillsbury Ave.

A break-in was reported at 5:05 p.m. Sunday at 213 Katherine St. About $300 in items were reported taken, and $200 was reported in damage.

 

2 cited for drunk driving

Albert Lea police cited Jared Alan Anderson for driving while intoxicated at 12:54 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of South Broadway and East College Street.

Police cited Natalie Sue Lane for DWI at 2:35 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of South Newton Avenue and East William Street.

 

Counterfeit bill reported

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 3:17 p.m. Friday at Citizens Community Federal Bank, 2630 Bridge Ave.
