The person to blame for the partial government shutdown is not President Trump, as Democrats would like you to believe. A bill has never arrived on President Trump’s desk giving him the option of signing it or vetoing it, mainly due to the Democrats’ inability to put dirty party politics aside for the benefit of the American people.

One reason that the Democrats are unwilling to compromise is because they don’t believe in a wall along the southern border to protect American families by helping border patrol agents stem the flow of drugs and gang members coming into America. Democrats will try to tell you that the people currently at the border as part of the “caravan” are legitimate asylum seekers. Legitimate asylum seekers do not throw rocks at border patrol agents and rush the border (which would be a lot harder if there was a wall).

Another reason Democrats are risking American lives by playing politics is because of how much the wall would cost. Democrats have a problem spending $5 billion on a wall, but are more than willing to give $54 billion to other countries through foreign aid. Isn’t $5 billion worth our safety?
